I've developed a frame for pumps which enables the plant operators to keep the pump mounted on the frame while carrying out maintenance work and some minor repairs. Thanks to the functional frame it is no longer necessary to remove the piping for maintenance.

The most challenging part consisted in the precise guidance of the motor and the bearing support on the frame as the spindles that sit in the housing have a very small tolerance and it was essential to prevent the spindles from causing damage to the inside of the housing when moving on the frame.

Due to the special and very flexible design of the frame it has been made possible for the frame to be combined to pumps in 3 different sizes as well as 6 different motors after some minor adjustments.
